Academic Calendar

Below are links to official Hood Theological Seminary Academic Calendars for the indicated years.The academic year begins July 1 each year.

Fall Semester Notes:

1. There will be no mid-semester break or examination period. Faculty may schedule such assessments in keeping with what they deem best for the courses and the students.

2. The instructional period of the semester contains 14 weeks, plus a holiday and a week for final examinations. Faculty attending professional meetings are to arrange appropriate coverage for their classes during their absence.

3. DMin Summer Intensive grades are due in the Office of the Registrar no later than August 19. Fall Semester grades are due in the Office of the Registrar no later than January 3rd.
 

Spring Semester Notes:

1. There will be no mid-semester break or examination period during the spring semester. Faculty may schedule such assessments in keeping with what they deem best for the courses and the students.

2. The instructional period of the sem0ester contains 14 weeks and a week for final examinations. Faculty attending professional meetings are to arrange appropriate coverage for their classes during their absence

3. January Intensive grades are due in the Office of the Registrar no later than 5:00 PM February 11; Spring Semester grades, no later than 5:00 PM May 20; D.Min Core Seminar II grades, no later than 5:00 PM June 6; Summer Intensive MDIV/MTS grades, no later than 5:00 PM July 22 and July D.Min Intensive grades, no later than 5:00 PM August 18
