Acquisition of Knowledge. Christian ministry requires the acquisition of knowledge of the biblical, historical, and theological heritages of the Christian community; an understanding of the political, social, and economic realities that affect the lives ofpeople today; and competence in those pastoral disciplines and activities that comprise the daily routine of Christian ministry.
