Cash Payments

May be presented in the Administration Building (Room 212). For your protection, never send cash in the mail.

Check or Money Order

May be presented in the Administration Building (Room 212) or mailed to our payment address: Hood Theological Seminary, 1810 Lutheran Synod Drive, Salisbury, NC 28144.

Credit Card Payments

MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover are all accepted forms of payment toward your account through Google checkout.

Payment Plans

Hood offers a 4 month payment plan. This option is only offered for current semester charges and must be completed by the end of the semester. Payments for this plan must be made directly to Hood Theological Seminary (see payment options above). Default on Payment

When a student registers for coursework or other academic progress, there are fees associated with that registration that are outlined by the Tuition and fees published in summer of each year for the following academic year. 
Students are provided with a billing statement for each semester and on a continuing monthly basis. They also have live access to their student account through myhood at any time.  Students are responsible for payment of all fees associated with enrollment.  All fees, along with tuition, must be paid in full by the end of each semester.  Students may not register for a subsequent semester if a balance from a current or previous semester remains.  If any overdue obligation is referred either to the Collection Department or to an outside agency or attorney for collection efforts and/or legal suit, the debt shall be increased to cover all reasonable costs of collection, including collection agency fees, attorney fees, and court costs.  By registering for any academic progress at Hood Theological Seminary, each student accepts and agrees to be bound by the foregoing policy as applied to any preexisting or future obligation to Hood Theological Seminary.
