Important Message Concerning Summer and Fall 2020 Classes from President Lattimore

Summer 2020 Classes
All June and July 2020 Intensive courses will be online. If you have specific questions about a course, contact the instructor for additional information.

Fall 2020 Classes
In light of present challenges and future uncertainties related to the COVID-19 virus, all Hood Theological Seminary fall 2020 courses with more than 10 enrolled students will meet 100% online. Courses with student enrollments of 10 or fewer will continue as planned, either traditionally (in-person and on-campus) or in hybrid format (part-online, part-traditional), depending on the course.

In the case of courses with student enrollments of 10 or less, students and faculty will be spaced at least 6 feet away from one another during in-person class sessions. The wearing of face masks during class time will be highly recommended, if not required. For the sake of clarity, a formal, detailed announcement outlining proper in-class, health-protecting procedures and practices will be issued at least two weeks prior to the start of the fall 2020 semester.

The foregoing is subject to revision, however, depending on future public health realities and federal or state government directives.

We thank you for your continued patience, resilience, and flexibility as we navigate together through these challenging times and circumstances.

In grace and peace,

Vergel L. Lattimore, Ph.D.
