DMin Service of Candidacy
The DMIN Service of Candidacy will take place virtually on March 16, 2024, at 10:10 a.m. EST via Zoom. Below is the Zoom information to attend the event.
This important step in the D.Min. program comes when the student has completed the required class work and they are ready to begin work on their professional project.
Speaker: The Reverend Dr. Emily Viverette
Adjunct Professor of Pastoral Theology, Hood Theological Seminary
Dr. Viverette has extensive experience in healthcare chaplaincy and Clinical Pastoral Education. She has served in chaplaincy at a skilled care facility, a Level II medical center and a Level I trauma center. She currently serves as the Director of FaithHealth Chaplaincy & Education at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. She is a Certified Educator credentialed through ACPE, Inc. and ordained as a minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She is a member of First Christian Church in Greensboro, NC. Dr. Viverette is a 2022 Hood Theological Seminary DMin graduate. She resides in Greensboro with her husband, two teenagers and spoiled dog.
He is married to Andrea Leslie Fite and they have two boys, Jeremiah and Aaron, and his precious baby girl Maya! Dr. Fite lives by the motto: “Only what you do for Christ will last!”
