Andy has had a long and varied ministry, which has included writing, traveling evangelism, pastoring, teaching college and seminary courses. He has pastored United Methodist and Quaker Churches and developed Youth ministries in both and is a past recipient of Harry Denman Award for Evangelism. He is on the North Carolina Global Methodist Church's Leadership team serving as the chair of the task force on evangelism. Andy has spoken at large events across the Southeastern United States and most recently was one of the keynote speakers for 2025 NCGMC Annual Conference. He was recently elected to the 2026 General Conference delegation. He was an appointed by the Transitional Leadership team of the Global Methodist church as the first Evangelist of the new denomination.
